The Accu-Fit curb back is made from our High Performance Kryptane® Polyurethane. This dynamic polyurethane is resistant to oils, grease and gasoline and is stronger than cast iron.

Proven Performance
Damage to cast iron catch basin backs from winter plowing and snow removal operations was becoming very costly. The City of Marquette was looking for a way to prevent damage and reduce cost, so in 1997, Argonics installed seven polyurethane catch basin backs. These curb boxes were placed in areas where replacement of the cast iron backs was an annual occurrence. These original polyurethane backs are still in place and have never needed repair or replacement.
