Repair sunken valve boxes quickly and effectively for a bump-free ride.
Does this look familiar? Sunken valve boxes are the bane of every public works maintenance crew. Traditional valve boxes often settle not long after the road is built and require numerous man hours to repair and bring back to road grade level. The repair process requires multiple steps – cutting around the valve box, adjust the casting upwards, then regrouting the area – only to find that a year later, the valve box has settled again.
The Accu-Rise Valve Box Repair Kit is the new standard and best-practice for managing utility access repairs. The repair kit fixes sunken valve boxes once and for all, so they remain at road grade.
The repair kit is used to raise valve boxes that have settled at least 1/4" or more.
The Accu-Rise Valve Box Repair Kit comes complete with a rugged polyurethane riser and six gaskets for shimming the riser, allowing you to custom-adjust the height of the valve box, from 1/4" to 1 1/4".
Finish the repair by using the included Kryptane® polyurethane cap and snap plug.
Unlike traditional repair methods, using the valve box repair kit greatly reduces the chance of future resettling of the cap.
